HVES PTA meetings and events are open to everyone. The meetings are held in the Media Center at 7:00 p.m. Free babysitting is provided for the meetings.
None of the enormously successful HVES PTA activities this past school year -- from plant sales, to bake sales, to ice cream socials, to bingo and movie nights, to the Carnival, etc. -- would have been possible without the outstanding service of our parent/guardian volunteers.
Positions and their responsibilities are flexible. And you can always co-coordinate with a friend.
So join us next year as a volunteer or a room parent!
This has been such a great year! Thanks to the dozens of parents and staff who have volunteered for our PTA activities this year and consistently attend our PTA meetings. You are the reason we have such a successful PTA at Highland View.
Also, huge thanks to our board. The board members show up at our executive meetings every month full of energy, ideas, and enthusiasm. Special thanks to those parents who come to these meetings who are not "officially" on the board but are always there to fill in the gaps and lend a helping hand. We are so fortunate to have leaders of this caliber. They are the engine that keeps it all rolling. Enormous thanks to our principal, Ms. Dardarian, and our assistant principal, Ms. Brown. They have supported our PTA efforts 110 percent. Not only do they come to every PTA meeting, but also to every board meeting and PTA event. How wonderful to have leadership so committed to our school, our students, and our families.
¡Este ha sido un gran año! Gracias a las docenas de padres y miembros del personal que se han ofrecido como voluntarios para nuestra actividades de la PTA de este año y que asisten religiosamente a las reuniones de nuestra PTA. Ustedes son la razón por la que tenemos una tan exitosa PTA en Highland View.
Por otra parte, enormes gracias a nuestra junta. Los miembros de la junta directiva se presentan a nuestras reuniones ejecutivas de cada mes llenos de energía, ideas y entusiasmo. Un agradecimiento especial a los padres que vienen a estas reuniones que no están "oficialmente" en el pizarrón pero que siempre están allí para llenar las lagunas y dar una mano. Somos muy afortunados de contar con un liderazgo de este calibre. Ellos son el motor que nos mantiene a todos en la marcha.
Enormes gracias a nuestra directora, la Srta. Dardarian, y a nuestra asistente de dirección, la Srta. Brown. Ellas han apoyado nuestros esfuerzos de PTA en un 110 por ciento. No sólo vienen a cada reunión de la PTA, sino que también concurren a cada reunión del consejo o evento de la PTA. ¡Qué maravilloso tener un liderazgo tan comprometido con nuestra escuela, nuestros estudiantes y nuestras familias.
